Hey everybody,

I’ve come across the Susang G. Komen organization, which fights for breast cancer 24/7, 365.

On May 8th, they’re having their 2010 Komen SLC Race for the Cure. Register early so your donation is $30, and come run in the race with me – it’ll be a blast! I hope we can get a bunch of people out so I can get some great pictures to put up here and on Annie’s blog. I hear they’re expecting over 17,000 people… excellent!

Weekend.. Closer..

Another day, another dollar. Tomorrow’s Friday, and it’s looking like a pretty good weekend ahead of me.

Friday Night	Sounds like a lot of things are going on – a concert of sorts, some parties, those sort of options.
Saturday	Gotta love an open Saturday. Prolly hit up the gym, do some grocery shopping, write some tunes, work on a couple sites… should be good!
Sunday	Band Practice. Laundry. Cleaning. The norm. Also very relaxing.

Slow but steady..

Well, I’ve gotten further in getting some awareness going for Annie – eventually, I’d like to get her on Oprah for breast cancer awareness. That’s the ticket!

My work has a corporate wellness program, which brings a trainer in once a month to review our health (weight, body fat percentage, blood pressure, etc.) and our lifestyles to see where we could cut back or get some more exercise to get healthier as a company.

Well, I’ve recently been hitting it pretty heavy in terms of weight loss and lifestyle improvements. I’ve lost 16 lbs since this time last month. I can feel a pretty big difference in a lot of ways – energy, clothing comfortability, and so on.

Since I’ve decided to live a more healthy, active lifestyle, I thought maybe I’d share the journey with the internet – maybe see if anyone who reads this can get some inspiration to do the same. There are an unlimited amount of excuses you can come up with to not accomplish something, but only the only way of knowing the pride of a job well done is to step outside of your comfort zone and make the change happen.

Read the page ’100lb Old Man’ every so often – I’ll be posting my progress and ideas about weight loss and health at least weekly.

Today, I found out I’ll need to get my own domain name to be able to code in all the functions I’d like for Annie’s page. (domain name now is themikegreen.WORDPRESS.com, meaning it’s hosted through wordpress.com. I’ll need my own unique domain, like freemikegreen.com, or whatever)

An example of what I’m looking to do, would be a widget that’d allow people to donate via paypal and visa, etc. I’d like to do as much possible to help Annie, so if anybody has any ideas or wants to help out, let me know!
